I think Blink is the first decent gadget online store in Kuwait. They offer a wide selection of products- mainly gadgets and accessories. I noticed that some of the accessories offered at Blink are still not available in the local market yet. Most deliveries are done within 24 hours, however you can choose to get an express delivery which usually gets delivered within 4 hours. They also have a cool return policy which you can learn more about here.
Overall, I liked the fact that the website is very clean and straight forward; reminded me of Amazon. I believe our friends at Design Box did a great job in designing it and thank God it’s not flash based so we can access it from our iPhones and iPads!

Recently I was in need of making an electronic purchase for a gift, I decided that the best option was getting in Kuwait since waiting for a delivery from Amazon would take too long. I need to get a Wifi iPad 16GB and decided to check out all the different pricing from Eureka, Xcite, and Electrozan. After calling around Xcite was the most expensive and Eureka was the cheapest, then a friend of mine told me to check out Blink and they were even cheaper but I was worried about delivery since I was traveling the next day. For delivery next day shipping to your house is free but for an extra 2.5 KD you can get it same day and in my case it was still cheaper then Eureka. They have a nice assortment of items and if you don’t feel like going to the store to pick it up Blink does offer some competitive prices. After looking at different products the cheapest pricing is between Blink and Eureka, it differs from product to product but Electrozan & Xcite are mostly on the more expensive side.

Samsung LED Monitor
It's been quite some time now since I updated my computer. I've been using my macbook laptop for a year or so and was neglecting my computer "I prefer windows rather than mac". I got for myself a whole new intel i3 2.93 computer with an exquisite new samsung BX2250 21.5" LED Monitor from Blink.
The quality of the screen is superb with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, response time 2ms and full HD screen resolution. It is also equiped with 2 HDMI inputs "you can use it with any HD system".

Iphone 4 FINALLY !
I've been waiting for the white iphone 4G since the black one came out. But today I blew a fuse and said that's it I'm not waiting anymore, I'm getting it today. Thanks to Sul6ana I remembered her post about Blink the online site. I ordered and chose express delivery and received it after about 2 hours. So thank you Blink for your timely delivery.

Just read this on ilSul6ana’s blog. I know Blink isn’t the first electronic online store in Kuwait but what made me post about it is their website interface is just too familiar.
I was in there store last month when I had my PC problem and saw -in my opinion- the best PC case ever created. The problem was it was the last piece and all scratched up. Also it costs 210KD :s

So last night I had a strong hankering for ordering some electronics, I think that October marks the month that I went overboard for my electronic addiction I seriously need to seek some help, but that’s beyond the point, it was the first time I ever tried Blink.com.kw.
I’ve been looking forward to grabbing the Mophie Juice Pack Air for the iPhone 4 since Daddy has been having trouble with the battery life in Milan. He is out for most part of the day and uses his iPhone a lot and so when he gets home he practically is down to 20-30% of the battery life, let’s just say he uses it as a GPS (Google Maps) more than often! So I thought let’s get him that, I also wanted one but couldn’t order it since there were limited quantity, but again that’s beyond the point. On Mophie.com you would find the battery pack for around 80-90$ so roughly around 25KD and with shipping another 5 KD it would probably come down to 30KD whereas Blink was offering it at a nice price of 37KD, I thought it was a steal and went right ahead and ordered one.
I wanted the iHome iA5 App-Enhanced Alarm clock because with the iPhone it brings you some awesome stuff and I had seen it on Amazon for around 80$ late last week (as of today however it’s at 67$) I factored in that the box weighs around 1.5kg but we know it won’t be that it’ll probably be heavier because Amazon will pack it in a bigger box so I would probably be paying anything from 32KD and above, on Blink it was priced at 30KD and I could have it instantly! I was a happy camper.
Placing the order wasn’t hard almost like any other website (except for the issue where my area was not listed there but after contacting them they managed to add it in). The delivery was awesome! I had scheduled for next-day delivery and I had specified that I wanted it to be delievered between 2pm – 6pm in a separate email and guess what? At exactly 2pm it was delivered to my house! Was awesome stuff!!!
All in all it was a great shopping experience, some items are priced more than what you can find in other prices but for the odd bits and pieces you can actually find good deals out there. I highly recommend using them for your next electronic fix! I know I probably will, I think someone needs to hide my credit card/debit card, no seriously some does.
