PS5 Onimusha Way of the Sword Standard Edition for PlayStation 5

Onimusha: Way of the Sword – PlayStation 5

Onimusha: Way of the Sword marks a long-awaited return to dark fantasy feudal Japan, standing as Capcom's first new mainline entry in the storied series in nearly two decades. Players step into the role of the legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, wielder of the mystical Oni Gauntlet, cutting a bloody path through a Malice-corrupted Edo-period Kyoto overrun by demonic Genma. Combat blends precise, soulslike swordplay with the series' signature Issen counterattack, delivering a swordplay-action experience that stays true to the franchise's roots while fully embracing current-generation 4K visuals. Musashi's search for his reason to fight carries him through gritty, blood-soaked duels against rivals who match his skill, including a legendary swordsman also armed with an Oni Gauntlet, alongside monstrosities dragged up from the underworld. Kyoto's real shrines and temples, including Kiyomizu-dera, take on an eerie, twisted appearance under the encroaching Malice, giving every stage its own distinct sense of mystery and danger. This listing includes the Pre-Order Bonus, featuring the Lion Dog charm and the Sealed Curse sword appearance as in-game content for early supporters.
