Mortal Shell II for PlayStation 5 is a standalone dark action RPG from Playstack and Cold Symmetry. It expands the original Mortal Shell with faster combat, deeper weapon customization, extensive upgrades and a compact interconnected open world built around exploration and discovery.

You play as the Harbinger, a mysterious warrior tasked with reclaiming the Undermether's stolen Ova from grotesque creatures and fanatical enemies. Across the shattered world, you can discover the remains of forgotten warriors, possess their Shells and use their unique abilities to develop your own combat style.

Mortal Shell II changes the traditional Soulslike combat formula by removing stamina gauges. This allows combat to move faster while maintaining a focus on timing, positioning and precision.

You can attack aggressively, break enemy posture and execute critical strikes. The game also expands execution options and introduces powerful sidearms alongside the main weapons.

Possess Different Mortal Shells

Forgotten warriors are scattered throughout the world. Discover their remains and awaken their Shells to gain access to different innate abilities.

Each Shell gives you another way to approach combat. You can experiment with different abilities and build a playstyle around the warrior you choose to possess.

Explore a Compact Open World

Mortal Shell II features an interconnected open world designed around exploration rather than simply moving between separate levels.
